TROUBLESHOOTING:

If the main flashlight lamp will not illuminate:
Insure that the L-Cap Laser Pointer housing is screwed completely
into the flashlight barrel
Check the spring action of the L-Cap contact pin
Check batteries
Insure that main lamp is not damaged or broken
Check that the flashlight switching action does work
Test the flashlight with the original tailcap

The flashlight will not come on and the laser pointer is dim:
The main flashlight bulb is damaged or burnt out. Replace the main lamp in the flashlight.

The laser is not as bright, but the flashlight still works:
This is an indication that the batteries are getting weaker. Always keep fresh batteries in your flashlight to insure that the L-Cap Laser Pointer is at its brightest.
The laser blinks on and off:
This is an indication that the main flashlight lamp is loose in its socket or the lamp contact to the battery is dirty. Reset the main lamp in its socket.
When turning on the laser pointer, the operation feels scratchy or stiff:
This is an indication that the threads need cleaning or lubrication. Clean the threads of the flashlight and end cap with a soft cloth and relubricate with a small amount of petroleum jelly.
Due to the compact design of the L-Cap laser pointer, space is not available in the tailcap for storage of an additional light bulb in some models. Please store additional lamps in a handy location in the event that the main bulb is ever damaged or burns out.
