CAUTION: This is an actual Class IIIa laser pointer rated at <5mw.   Certain states and local governments regulate the ownership and/or use of this class of laser pointer.  Check with your local authorities for any restrictions on this type of laser product.

If, for any reason, the user does not wish to accept the complete responsibility for the care and use of this product, please return it to the place of purchase for a proper refund.  Never look or shine the laser light into your or anyone else’s eyes.  Possible eye injury could occur. L-Cap laser pointers or their distributors are not responsible for the intentional or non-intentional misuse of their products.  When uninstalled, the end cap could be a choking hazard to small children. Never let children use flashlight unsupervised.

INSTALLATION:

Insure that the L-Cap module is rated and designed for your style of flashlight. If it does not match your flashlight, do not attempt to install. Damage to the flashlight could occur and render it unusable. L-Cap will not be responsible for any damages to any device if it is improperly matched or installed in a flashlight that it was not designed to fit. Never attempt to disassemble the L-Cap Laser Pointer. Permanent damage to the device will occur rendering it unrepairable.

For proper operation, batteries should be fresh and show no signs of damage.

Inspect the spring contact to insure it is free moving by pressing it into the tailcap. The internal spring should return it to the extended position. If it does not immediately return by spring power, rotate the spring contact back and forth. This will free any obstructions to the motion.

STEP 1. Read the entire product sheet before use.

STEP 2. Remove the existing tailcap from the flashlight. Store in a safe place away from small children.

STEP 3. Turn the flashlight to the "ON" position. Install the L-Cap Laser Pointer by screwing it onto the bottom of the flashlight barrel.

STEP 4. Test the flashlight for normal operation.

STEP 5. Point the tail cap of the flashlight away from your body and rotate the tailcap laser, as in disassembly. (Preferably, point to the floor) The laser will then come on and the main flashlight lamp will go out. (Due to the size of different manufactures of batteries, some flashlights can take up to 1½ turns to turn on the laser pointer. This is normal and will not damage the flashlight.)

STEP 6. Screw the L-Cap Laser Pointer completely in, the main flashlight will come on again.

Each L-Cap Laser Pointer is tested in the actual flashlight body that it was designed for. However, some minor differences in construction of your flashlight may occur.
